  I read the review posted by a lawyer. Based on what happened to, I don't think the State Bar deserves even one Star. I am an ex-spouse of a lawyer and sent in complaints to the State Bar from 2012 during my 6 year divorce without a lawyer. All of the complaints were ignored or rejected. After I got my judgment, I filed complaints against my ex-husband and the lawyers he worked with who set out to destroy me, my home, my family. All of the complaints were rejected. except one and it was not based on my divorce. These lawyers knew that what they were doing was going to destroy my home, my family and there was no remorse about it. Proof of arrests, unpaid child support, judgments, proof of false proofs of services, my name being forged and abuse all were provided to the State Bar and were rejected. One attorney might be disbarred for arrests and will never be accountable for the years the lawyer "represented" my ex-husband. The State Bar is supposed to protect the public from unethical lawyers not to shield the lawyers from the public who report them for wrong doing. Putting a victim in a legal checkmate or cause them to have no means to sue them for what they did. - violates the "Mission" of what the State Bar was charged to for the general public. Maybe its time for an "Angie's List" for lawyers to be established.
