- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★This review is to describe the kind professionalism of Barbara. A week ago, while in significant discomfort, I went to Tigges Jewelers to ask for a ring to be cut off my finger. Barbara first soaked the finger in cold water and applied Windex, unfortunately without extricating the finger. Dealing with an extremely thick silver ring, she used one set of jeweler's scissors, then another, then a third (which broke the tool), and finally was successful with the 4th. When I gratefully asked her how much I owed her, she said, "Nothing". I noted that a tool had broken. Barbara then summed up, "I won't charge you. It was an act of mercy". Thank you to Tigges. This was my first visit to them, and I will certainly be a return customer (next time to buy rather than to be rescued!)By Margaret Stroad, April 05, 2017
